Wooden bird DIY

I and my friend Mesimarja packed our bags and headed to spend a crafting weekend at my dad’s. My dad’s garage has grown into a full blown factory space in the past 10 years. There are pretty much any equipment and material that you can think of. I had seen these lovely wooden birds on blogs and in Etsy by Anna Wiscombe, so I wanted to see if I could do it myself. I used a basic jigsaw to cut the bird and then a sandpaper machine to smooth the surfaces and corners. I will decorate it with some paint and perhaps washi tape and other craft supplies I find. Super excited about this! Would people buy these if I sold them on Etsy? Well, at least they look gorgeous on my windowsill.

Go check out Anna Wiscombe on her Etsy shop and her website.
